Application Operations Specialist + ServiceNow (Full-Time)
We are looking for an Application Operations Specialist to ensure the reliable operation of our core banking systems through effective incident management and application support. In this role, you will play a key role in maintaining system stability, coordinating across teams, managing changes, and driving automation.
Tasks
- Ensuring the operation of core banking applications in terms of application management (2nd-level support)
- Processing of incident tickets generated by monitoring systems and the local service desk in accordance with SLAs
- Performing coordination and communication tasks between incident managers, application service owners, third-level support, and other IT and business stakeholders
- Assumption of periodic on-call duty (weekly, 24/7)
- Administration of change requests for the fulfillment of application-related processes
- Participation in periodic releases on weekends
- Work on projects related to the operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications
- Routine data cleansing of the systems
- Process optimization and automation of repetitive tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center)
- Keep the application operations documentation (knowledge base) up to date
- Guiding users through ServiceNow processes and desk procedures
Requirements
- ServiceNow Specialist/Administrator Support Skills
- Completed IT training (degree in computer science or other IT-related certification)
- At least 2 years of professional experience in application support
- Proficiency in English, as well as written and spoken German and Spanish, is a plus
