Application Manager (Full-Time)

Tasks

- Address highly complex issues in legacy systems that medical developers are unable to analyze or resolve. - Communicate highly technical problems to a non-technical audience. - Be an influencer and enabler who facilitates the work of existing developers. - Ensure that issues are properly escalated to the organization to resolve problems that are outside its scope. - Develop and deliver using Java, EJB, Spring Boot, Oracle, and Kafka Streaming.

Requirements

- At least 10 years of experience in development using Core Java and Java EE. - At least 3 years of experience with Spring Boot. - At least 2 years of experience with TDD. - Be well-organized and able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks. - Be able to influence and steer projects to achieve key milestones and overcome challenges. - Ability to translate functional requirements into efficient and practical technical solutions. - Experience in the finance/banking domain is desirable.

Technical requirements

- Core Java 8+ and Java 11. - Strong knowledge of computer science (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design). - TDD: Ability to write acceptance tests. - Maven. - Basic Unix shell scripting commands. - Java messaging concepts (JMS, MQ). - Relational database concepts, SQL, joins, indexes, triggers, etc. - Web services (REST, SOAP). - Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). - Spring Boot core concepts. - Experience optimizing SQL queries. - Familiarity with Hibernate, Git, Scrum, Maven, etc.

Desirable skills

• JBoss (or another application server environment).
• Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Java Server Faces, JTA, and JLB.
• Able to write complex transactional SQL queries.
• React JS or Angular.
