Application Manager / IT Service Owner (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Tasks

The role involves monitoring the end-to-end operation of an IT service in accordance with predefined service level agreements. This includes a comprehensive understanding and careful tracking of all service dependencies, as well as proactive lifecycle management.

• Problem Management: Identifying and addressing the root causes of issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
• Continuous improvement: Monitoring and analyzing IT services, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality
• Communication: Primary point of contact for stakeholders, regular updates, reports, and feedback on the IT service
• Compliance and Governance: Ensuring that the IT service complies with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies
• Test/Release Management and Deployment of Fixes and Enhancements/Upgrades

Requirements

• IT Service Management: Understanding IT service management principles, processes, and best practices (e.g., ITIL)
• Technical skills: Familiarity with IT systems, infrastructure, and applications, including hardware, software, and networks
• Data analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make decisions and optimize IT services
• Problem-solving: Ability to solve complex technical problems
• Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and customers
• Stakeholder management: The ability to identify, analyze, and address stakeholder needs and expectations
• Governance and Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies
• At least 5 years of experience as an IT service owner or application manager
• At least 5 years of IT experience, particularly with financial information systems such as Bloomberg, S&P/Reuters, Marketmap, BAHA, SIX, Contributing, etc.
