Application Manager

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Lead the analysis and resolution of complex legacy system issues
• Take on the role of a technical influencer and bridge the gap between engineering and non-technical stakeholders
• Develop and deliver solutions using Java, EJB, Spring Boot, MySQL, and IBM MQ
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve goals
• Identify and resolve production issues to ensure a stable production environment

Requirements

The requirements include:

• At least 10 years of experience in development using Core Java and Java EE
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector
• At least 2 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong background in computer science (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design)
• Knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL, joins, indexes, triggers, etc.
• Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP)
• Knowledge of Spring Core concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and query optimization
• Familiarity with IntelliJ, Git, SonarQube/SonarLint

Desirable

Desirable skills include:

• JBoss (or experience with other application servers)
• Spring Boot
• Knowledge of Java Server Faces, JPA, and EJB
• Ability to write complex SQL queries
• React JS or Angular
