Application Manager

Tasks

As an Application Manager, you are responsible for the development, rollout, and availability of solutions in the wealth management sector. Your responsibilities include:

• Resolving complex legacy defects that medical developers cannot analyze or resolve
• Communicating Highly Technical Issues to Non-Technical Audiences
• The influence on the engineering practices of existing developers
• Ensuring that the organization remains easy to understand and maintain by solving problems that cause difficulties for others
• The development and delivery of solutions using Java, C#, Spring Boot, microservices, JB/MQL, and JB/MAD
• The analysis of business and system requirements and their translation into technical solutions that are scalable, stable, and fit for purpose
• Ensuring compliance with the highest standards (including code, security, and performance)

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• At least 10 years of experience in development using Core Java and Java EE
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector
• At least 2 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and carry out multiple tasks
• Ability to translate functional requirements into efficient and practical technical solutions

Technical requirements

The following technical requirements must be met:

• Core Java (Java 11+ JUnit)
• Strong knowledge of computer science (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design)
• TDD, the ability to write acceptance tests
• Maven
• Basic knowledge of shell scripting
• Java Messaging Service (JMS), MQ
• Relational database concepts, SQL, joins, indexes, triggers, etc.
• Service-oriented architecture
• Spring Core Concepts
