Application Manager

Tasks

- Stakeholder management – working closely with Finance, business change engineers, and project managers to steer and manage IT delivery. - Analyzing requirements, estimating effort, planning, scheduling, and managing progress. - Ensuring that key stakeholders and participants are informed, involved, and supported by building strong project teams and maintaining robust communication about the project status throughout the entire lifecycle. - Driving and reviewing technical and architectural concepts, enforcing architectural guidelines, and challenging the status quo.

Regulatory responsibilities and risk management

- Demonstrating appropriate values and behaviors, including but not limited to standards of integrity, risk management, and compliance, in order to serve customers safely, manage conflicts of interest, promote competence and continuous development, ensure appropriate risk management, and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and sanctions regulations.

Requirements

- At least 10 years of experience in development with Core Java and Java EE. - At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector. - At least 2 years of experience with TOD. - Well-organized and able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. Able to influence and drive projects forward to achieve key milestones and overcome challenges. - Able to translate functional requirements into efficient and practical technical solutions. Experience in the financial or banking sector is preferred.

Technical requirements

Must-Haves:

• Core Java 8+ and Java.
• Strong knowledge of computer science (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design).
• TOD. Able to write acceptance tests.
• Maven.
• Basic Linux shell scripting commands.
• Java messaging concepts (JMS, MQ).
• Relational database concepts, SQL, joins, indexes, triggers, etc.
• Web services (REST, SOAP).
• Core Concepts of Spring.
• Experience in optimizing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with IntelliJ, Git, SonarQube/Source.Lint.

Must-Haves:

• Knowledge of JBOSS (or another application server).
• Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of Java Server Faces, JTA, and EJB.
• Able to write and understand complex SQL queries.
• React JS or Angular.
