Tasks
- Ensuring sustainable, stable and maintainable applications
- Service operations: Managing the day-to-day operations of the IT service to ensure it is delivered in accordance with agreed SLAs and OLAs.
- Incident management: Managing and resolving incidents related to IT services in order to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Problem management: Identification and elimination of causes of incidents, implementation of corrective measures to prevent future occurrences
- Continuous improvement: Monitoring and analyzing IT services, identifying potential for improvement, and implementing changes to increase efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
- Communication: Acting as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and feedback on IT services
- Compliance and governance: Ensuring that the IT service complies with the relevant laws, regulations and organizational guidelines
Requirements
- Data analysis: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make decisions and optimize IT services
- Problem solving: Ability to solve and resolve complex technical problems
- Communication: Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, including executives, technical teams, and customers
- Stakeholder management: Ability to identify, analyze, and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations
- Governance and compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies
Education and skills
- Strong understanding of IT service management principles, processes, and best practices (e.g., ITIL)
- At least 5 years of experience as an IT service owner/application manager
