Julius Baer is looking for an Application/Software Engineer – Data & Regulatory Compliance, who will be responsible for developing solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of wealth management. The position is temporary until December 31, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
Job description
Application/Software Engineer – Data & Regulatory Compliance 100% (f/m/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start date until December 31, 2026, with possible extension)Tasks
- Development and implementation of solutions for regulatory compliance in the area of data and regulatory compliance
- Design of service architectures, system integration, and implementation of workflow-driven solutions
- Development and maintenance of data integration and analysis systems using Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, and Dataiku DSS
- Management and reporting of regulatory data, ensuring accurate and timely cross-border submissions
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
- Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL and database development
- Ability to operate regulatory data management and reporting systems
- Experience with AEoI frameworks (CRS, FATCA, CARF) and global tax regulations
- Proven experience in designing service architectures, system integration, and implementing workflow-driven solutions
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong documentation skills
- Deep understanding of software development, customization, and structured decomposition of complex requirements
- Familiarity with Regology's FITAX platform is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is desirable
