Julius Baer is seeking an Application/Software Engineer – Data & Regulatory Compliance, who will be responsible for developing solutions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the area of wealth management. The position is full-time with a contract until December 31, 2026, and the possibility of extension.

Application/Software Engineer – Data & Regulatory Compliance 100% (m/f/d) - (Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start date until December 31, 2026, with possible extension)Tasks
- Development and implementation of solutions for regulatory compliance in the area of data and regulatory compliance
- Design of service architectures, system integration, and implementation of workflow-driven solutions
- Development and maintenance of data integration and analysis systems using Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, and Dataiku DSS
- Management and reporting of regulatory data, ensuring accurate and timely cross-border submissions
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field
- Extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL and database development
- Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, and Dataiku DSS for data integration and analysis
- Experience with regulatory data management and reporting systems
- Knowledge of AEoI frameworks (CRS, FATCA, CARF) and global tax regulations
- Experience in designing service architectures, system integration, and implementing workflow-driven solutions
- Solution-oriented mindset with strong documentation skills
- Deep understanding of software development, customization, and structured decomposition of complex requirements
- Familiarity with Regnology's FITAX platform is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
- Fluent in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German is desirable
