Application Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Will be primarily responsible for business systems, particularly escalations to the 2nd-level Application Support team and its members.
• Acknowledging, investigating, and taking ownership of issues using Zendesk, Jack, ServiceNow, or 2% systems
• Contributing to Customer Deliveries
• Focused and responsive, driving change and success
• Liaison with client-facing technical analysts and applications staff to foster a positive attitude and provide feedback on who takes the lead after initial applications
• Understanding bank operations, internal banking, and risk monitoring issues
• Understanding systems, including monitoring software and issues that arise from various system groups
• Documenting issues clearly to resolve them through triage and ticket escalation management by following the change control database (knowledge bases)
• Communicate with the production team to address the issue by explaining how to access the system and the knowledge base available to the company to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare and distribute test artifacts
• Work in virtual teams on projects and product development

Essential Skills

• Excellent IT skills / help desk / support experience
• Experience with Windows-based operations, including MS Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows configuration capabilities
• Service now and under pressure to experience
• Methodological approach to data analysis and quality concerns. In recent years, this has drawn attention

Desirable

• Experience with SQL, QAP, SSRS, and shell scripting would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of operating systems, civil law –
• Experience with MS Teams, Slack, and Status—Essential
• Experience with applications that support 2021, ActiveMQ, MS Azure, Sentry, front-end development, and Safari—or experience with or support for data integration from clients. Experience with complex application environments.
• Some business knowledge of financial markets and industries, with broad market experience—including equities, derivatives, crypto assets, and structured finance—across other financial services sectors.
