Application Support Engineer - Securities Finance (FIS SFTG/APEX/Finance) 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Support business colleagues in their daily work and conduct investigations as required
- Identifying potential for improvement and proposing recommendations for improving systems and processes
- Participate in daily routines and ceremonies as a member of our agile organization and contribute expertise to quarterly Program Increment Planning (PI)
- Function as local liaison between our team, Central IT and external provider as an employee of Global Products & Solutions Technology
Requirements
- Training in a technical profession, university degree or equivalent training or experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as IT Engineer, Support Engineer and/or IT Administrator with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finance), this experience is essential and mandatory
- Basic developer skills in databases & SQL, Unix & scripting, Java is a plus
- Experience as a DevOps engineer and CI/CD
- Basic knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodology
- Ability to communicate with management, business, IT and vendors
- Independent, efficient, proactive and diligent way of working
- Good analytical, coordinating and problem-solving skills
- Experience in troubleshooting general IT problems
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or similar training is a plus
Contract details
- Contract through our external payroll partner
- Immediate start for 12 months with possible extension
