Application Support Engineer - Securities Finance (FIS SFTS/APEX/Finance) 100% (m/f/d)

Location and working hours

• Location: Zurich
• Working hours: Full-time

Tasks

• Supporting business colleagues in their daily work and conducting investigations as required
• Identifying potential for improvement and proposing recommendations for improving systems and processes
• Participate in daily routines and ceremonies as a member of our agile organization and contribute expertise to quarterly Program Increment Planning (PI)
• As a member of Global Products & Solutions Technology, acts as a local liaison between our team, Central IT and external suppliers

Requirements

• Training in a technical profession, university degree or equivalent training or experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as IT Engineer, Support Engineer and/or IT Administrator with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finance), this experience is essential and mandatory
• Basic developer skills in databases & SQL, Unix & scripting, Java is a plus
• Experience as a DevOps engineer and CI/CD
• Basic knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodology
• Ability to communicate with management, business, IT and suppliers
• Independent, efficient, proactive and diligent way of working
• Good analytical, coordinating and problem-solving skills
• Experience in troubleshooting general IT problems
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or similar training is a plus

Contract and duration

• Contract through our external payroll partner
• Immediate start for 12 months with possible extension
