Application Support Engineer - Securities Finance (FIS SFTS/APEX/Finance) 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

Supporting business colleagues in their daily work and conducting investigations as required
Identifying potential for improvement and proposing recommendations for improving systems and processes
As a member of our agile organization, participate in daily routines and ceremonies and contribute expertise to quarterly Program Increment Planning (PI)
As an employee of Global Products & Solutions Technology, acts as a local liaison between our team, Central IT and external vendor

Requirements

Training in a technical profession, university degree or equivalent training or experience
5+ years of hands-on experience as IT Engineer, Support Engineer and/or IT Administrator with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finance), this experience is essential and mandatory
Basic developer skills in databases & SQL, Unix & scripting, Java is a plus
Experience as a DevOps engineer and CI/CD
Basic knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodology
Ability to communicate with management, business, IT and vendors
Independent, efficient, proactive and diligent way of working
Good analytical, coordinating and problem-solving skills
Experience in troubleshooting general IT problems
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or similar training is a plus
