Application Support Engineer - Securities Finance (FIS SFTS/APEX/Finance) 100% (m/f/d)Tasks
- Support business colleagues in their daily work and conduct investigations as required
- Identifying potential for improvement and proposing recommendations for improving systems and processes
- As a member of our agile organization, participate in daily routines and ceremonies and contribute expertise to quarterly Program Increment Planning (PI)
- As a member of Global Products & Solutions Technology, acts as a local liaison between our team, Central IT and external suppliers
Requirements
- Training in a technical profession, university degree or equivalent training or experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as IT Engineer, Support Engineer and/or IT Administrator with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finance), this experience is essential and mandatory
- Basic developer skills in databases & SQL, Unix & scripting, Java is a plus
- Experience as a DevOps engineer and CI/CD
- Basics in agile/SAFe methodology
- Ability to communicate with management, business, IT and suppliers
