Application Support Engineer – Securities Finance (FIS SHTC/APEX/Finance)

Tasks

• Support business colleagues in their daily work and conduct investigations as needed
• Administrator in the financial sector

Requirements

• Knowledge of the Securities Lending and Borrowing solution (FIS SHTC), formerly APEX Collateral Management/FINANCE, is required
• Training in a technical field, an associate's degree, or equivalent education or experience
• Basic development skills in databases and SQL, Unix, scripting, and Java are a plus
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer and with CI/CD, as well as troubleshooting general IT issues
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or similar qualifications are a plus
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with management, business units, IT teams, and external suppliers
• An independent, efficient, proactive, and meticulous work style, combined with strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Business English proficiency (C1/C2 level)
• On-call work for exceptional cases only
