Application Support Engineer - Securities Finance (FIS SHTC/APEX/Finance) 100% (m/f/d)

Tasks

Supporting business colleagues in their daily work and conducting investigations as required
Identifying potential for improvement and proposing recommendations for improving systems and processes
Participate in daily routines and ceremonies as a member of our agile organization and contribute expertise to quarterly Program Increment Planning (PI)
As a member of Global Products & Solutions Technology, acts as a local liaison between our team, Central IT and external suppliers

Requirements

Training in a technical profession, university degree or equivalent training or experience
5+ years of hands-on experience as IT Engineer, Support Engineer and/or IT Administrator with "FIS Securities Finance Trading and Collateral Platform" (formerly Apex Collateral Management / Finance), this experience is essential and mandatory
Basic developer skills in databases & SQL, Unix & scripting, Java is a plus
Experience as a DevOps engineer and CI/CD
Basic knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodology
Ability to communicate with management, business, IT and suppliers
Independent, efficient, proactive and diligent way of working
Good analytical, coordinating and problem-solving skills
Experience in troubleshooting general IT problems
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification or similar training is a plus

Contract through our external payroll partner with immediate start for 12 months with possible extension
