Application Support (Murex)

Tasks

The position as Application Support Specialist (Murex) includes the following tasks:

• Expert-level support and troubleshooting for internal and external software, with a focus on the Murex platform
• Setup and configuration of Murex and other applications to achieve optimal performance
• Implementation of new tools and metrics for monitoring and optimizing application performance
• Planning and troubleshooting end-of-day processes to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Technical and functional support for all users of the Murex platform
• Participation in the on-call service for production support to provide prompt and effective solutions to problems and minimize the impact on business operations
• Support with change management and rollout planning

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., MQ, Kafka)
• Experience with databases/ISN-related services (Oracle, Sybase)
• Knowledge of Murex MXXML Exchange Workflows Design and Implementation
• Knowledge of Murex Reporting Datamart or other Murex components
• Java development experience
• Academic degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Financial or programming qualifications are desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a global team and take initiative with a positive attitude
• Solution-oriented and able to work in an agile setup
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines
