Application Support (Murex)

Tasks

• Provision of support services (e.g., for software, hardware, end devices, and networks) and monitoring functions to ensure continuous access to IT services and support the end-user lifecycle.
• Technical and functional support for all users of the Murex platform.
• Participate in the on-call support service for production to provide prompt and effective solutions to problems and minimize the impact on business operations.
• Support for change management and the planning of release rollouts.

Requirements

• Experience with messaging systems (e.g., MQ, Kafka).
• Experience with databases and database-related topics (Oracle, Sybase).
• Knowledge of Murex MXML Exchange workflow design and implementation.
• Knowledge of Murex Reporting Datamart or other Murex components.
• Experience in Java development.
• A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Financial or programming skills are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as part of a global team and take the initiative with a positive attitude.
• Solution-oriented and able to work in an agile setup.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
• Ability to quickly identify problems and provide effective solutions.
