Application Support (Murex)
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist with expert knowledge in supporting the Murex platform to ensure the stability and performance of the platform and provide technical support to users. The ideal candidate will have experience with Murex, Java development, and databases, as well as excellent communication skills.
Tasks
The position as Application Support Specialist (Murex) includes the following tasks:- Providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for internal and external supported software, with a focus on the Murex platform
- Ensuring that the Murex and other application environments are optimally configured
- Implementation of new tools and metrics for monitoring and optimizing application performance
- Planning and troubleshooting end-of-day processes
- Provision of technical and functional support for all users of the Murex platform
- Participation in on-call services for production support
- Support with change management and rollout planning
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- Experience with messaging systems (e.g., MQ, Kafka)
- Experience with databases/SQL-related queries (Oracle, Sybase)
- Knowledge of Murex MXML Exchange workflow design and implementation
- Knowledge of Murex Reporting Datamart or other Murex components
- Java development experience
- Academic degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously in a global team
- Solution-oriented and agile
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
