Application Support Specialist
The Application Support Specialist supports various business departments at EFG International in the use of HR applications and is responsible for analyzing business requirements, project management, and technical support. The role involves working with Oracle Fusion teams and providing solutions to technical issues.
Job description
Tasks
- Analysis of business requirements and conversion of HR processes into innovative technical solutions
- Collaborate with dedicated Oracle Fusion teams to specify, monitor, and resolve requests
- Management of HR projects from planning to delivery
- Provision of detailed technical support for end users to ensure rapid problem resolution
- Design and optimization of data models, SQL queries, and QTB reports
- Reviewing Oracle Fusion release notes and anticipating system impacts
- Adapting reports to quarterly updates and enabling data exchange between Oracle Fusion and other tools (AuraQuantic, DWHS, etc.)
Requirements
- University degree in IT, computer science, or a related field
- Experience with the entire Recycle software and IT service management
- Strong analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, independent in advanced IT troubleshooting, with proven resources and the ability to acquire knowledge autonomously
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SQL, database modeling, Java, or Python
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HR solutions is an advantage
- Fluent English (B1 or First Certificate); Italian is an advantage (not in Lugano)
