Application System Administrator (Full-Time) (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Manage change requests and ensure that application-related processes are carried out properly
• Participation in periodic release activities, including weekend deployments
• Collaboration on projects related to the operational aspects of existing or newly integrated applications
• Performing routine data cleansing and system maintenance
• Optimization of processes and automation of recurring tasks, including handover to L1 (Control Center)
• Maintenance and updating of application operating documentation and the knowledge base
• Providing support for batch job scheduling and monitoring (e.g., Automic AWA, Control-M, or similar tools)

Your requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in application support and/or system administration in complex IT environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux; experience with shell scripting is a plus
• Solid knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
• Practical experience with Java-based application servers, relational databases, and workload automation tools (experience with Automic AWA is a plus)
• ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred)
• Experience with batch job support and scheduling tools such as Automic AWA, Control-M, or equivalent
• Professional experience in the banking or financial services industry, including knowledge of financial products, is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate effectively across IT functions
• Strong process orientation combined with an analytical approach to problem-solving
