Systems Architect

Mission of the position

The IT Architect is responsible for the documentation, governance, and resilience of the bank’s IT system in accordance with FINMA regulatory standards. The IT Architect maintains an architecture repository (assets, areas, service providers) and ensures that documentation is kept up to date and that architectural best practices are followed in line with the bank’s strategy.

Tâches principales

• Architecture governance:
  • Provide best practices for implementing new systems
  • Design the future technical architecture of the information system (cloud technologies, AI, etc.)
  • Define the principles of urban planning, integration, and interoperability.
  • Ensure compliance with the Finova community's standards and guidelines.
• Governance and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with FINMA requirements (operational resilience, risk management, outsourcing).
  • Contribute to architectural committees and steering groups.
  • Document key decisions and trade-offs.
  • Ensure that the information system is kept up to date (cybersecurity) and maintained throughout its lifecycle.
• Multi-bank coordination and ecosystem:
  • Participate in interbank working groups related to the Finova banking system (infrastructure, technology)
  • Share best practices and feedback within the community.
  • Contribute to the consistency of structural decisions at the community level.
• Partner integration and management:
  • Ensure that risks associated with outsourcing are managed effectively.
  • Ensure regular updates and architectural reviews in cooperation with security authorities
• Operational excellence and resilience:
  • Integrate security, performance, and continuity requirements and align them with IT priorities
  • Ensure that critical dependencies are under control.
  • Support the platform's ability to continuously evolve

Desired profile

• Education and experience:
  • Degree in computer science, systems architecture, or a related field.
  • Certification in enterprise architecture (TOGAF or equivalent): a plus.
• Technical and methodological skills:
  • Application architecture and integration (API, services, orchestration).
  • Modeling of flows and critical dependencies.
  • Information System Security.
  • External and hybrid environments.
  • Enterprise architecture tools.
• Personal skills:
  • Ability to operate in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
