Artificial Intelligence Program and Product Manager

Your role

As an AI Program and Product Manager at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of AI products within the bank’s newly established Center of Excellence (CoE) for AI. You will translate the bank’s strategic vision into a concrete, prioritized roadmap of AI initiatives. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex technical capabilities and business value to ensure that every AI solution we deploy generates business value and is compliant. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, AI-first capabilities that enhance both the customer experience and operational efficiency.

Your tasks

• Define and manage the AI product portfolio, using value engineering to prioritize use cases based on ROI, business value, and technical feasibility
• Serve as the primary point of contact between product, engineering, legal, compliance, and business teams to coordinate stakeholders and streamline decision-making processes
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of AI applications (generative AI, intelligent automation, chatbots) using Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies
• Ensure that all AI products comply with strict data protection and security standards by managing the risk profile of AI deployments in a private banking context
• Monitor the entire product lifecycle from discovery and prototyping through to production, tracking KPIs, OKRs, and internal/external user satisfaction metrics after launch
• Drive the adoption of AI tools across the banking sector by training non-technical stakeholders and translating technical AI metrics into business outcomes
• Collaboration with external technology partners and internal procurement to evaluate and integrate third-party AI platforms and large language model (LLM) providers

Your profile

• A university degree in business administration, information technology, or engineering; an MBA or an advanced degree in a technical field is strongly preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in IT program/product management, with at least 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML, cloud computing (AWS/GCP/Azure), or digital transformation projects
• Extensive expertise in stakeholder engagement
• Excellent communication skills at the highest level; ability to influence C-level stakeholders and lead technical teams
• Fluent English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
