Arval Switzerland – Collections Specialist

Arval Switzerland is seeking a Collections Specialist (80–100%) for its Finance Team in Rotkreuz to handle collections and communication with customers and partners. The position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, flexible working hours, and above-average benefits.

Tasks

Your tasks:
  • We handle the entire debt collection process from start to finish, from identifying outstanding receivables or late payments by our clients at an early stage, through taking appropriate action, to initiating legal proceedings
  • Conducting discussions with customers and partners, seeking fair solutions, and identifying sustainable payment options (developing payment proposals, negotiating installment plans, and evaluating debt restructuring and deferral cases)
  • Close collaboration with our colleagues in Sales, Risk, and Accounting to further develop and digitize our processes
  • Monitoring open items (including accounts receivable, analyzing key performance indicators, and contributing to the achievement of our financial goals)

Requirements

Your strengths:
  • Strong knowledge of debt collection law (SchKG) and at least 5 years of experience in debt collection
  • Experience in the leasing sector and a knack for numbers are a plus
  • Fluency in German, English, and/or French; knowledge of Italian is a plus
  • Working independently with Excel
  • Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and tact when dealing with debtors
  • An independent, structured, and meticulous approach to work
