Asset Management - Institutional Hedge Fund Solutions - Executive Director
As an Executive Director and Hedge Fund Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan in Miami, you will be responsible for trading, P&L management, and risk management for institutional hedge fund products such as ETFs and AIs. Your responsibilities also include acquiring new clients, conducting due diligence, and working closely with internal teams to develop and implement strategic portfolio changes for institutional clients.
Tasks
- Serve as Executive Director and hedge fund portfolio manager within J.P. Morgan Alternative Asset Management (JPMAAM) in the institutional hedge fund business (IFHB Suite), acting as a senior trader and portfolio accountant for discretionary and managed hedge fund products.
- Management of J.P. Morgan hedge fund products such as ETFs and AIs, including the preparation and maintenance of books, responsibility for profit and loss, risk, position sizes, option generation, product monitoring, and management of hedge fund portfolios for clients, as well as ensuring that their liquidity needs are met.
- Managing asset growth in institutional and hedge fund products; expanding platform capabilities and securing new mandates from hedge fund managers and O&W (Oak Hill Partners) clients.
- Conducting due diligence reviews of hedge fund managers and O&W (Oak Hill Partners) clients.
- Implementation, structuring, and management of a wide range of hedge fund products and strategies.
- Development and implementation of asset preparation and onboarding, including effective accounting and troubleshooting tasks.
- Overseeing the creation of user portfolios, preparing performance reports and portfolios, and presenting additional recommendations.
- Provide solution-oriented approaches to J.P. Morgan clients, with a focus on problem-solving, to successfully develop, launch, and implement portfolio transitions that impact client risk, returns, objectives, and outcomes.
- Preparation of marketing materials and reports, including marketing presentations, commentary, and marketing materials.
- Work closely with the broader Alcatel portfolio, portfolio management, research analysis, risk management, and technology to integrate the front office and deliver accurate product and client results in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the hedge fund industry across various asset classes, including research and analysis, marketing, and growth.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hedge fund strategies and the ability to implement them with internal partners and clients.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.
