Asset Management - Institutional Sales Support - Associate

Asset Management - Institutional Sales Support - Associate (Zurich)Tasks
The main tasks include:- Partner with client advisors to support all aspects of the sales and business development process
- Assistance in identifying new business opportunities and upcoming product research
- Conducting market research and market analysis to support business development and customer loyalty
- Supporting the sales team in maintaining prospect and customer databases to ensure that critical customer information is stored and updated in the CRM tool
- Supporting senior client advisors during the manager selection process, including RFPs, RFPs, and beauty contests; coordinating the entire process from initial evaluation to dissemination and follow-up
- Coordinate with product teams on customer presentations, portfolio reviews, and ongoing relationship management efforts
- Responding to customer inquiries and managing customer communication efforts to promote ongoing sales conversations and build customer relationships
- Partner with the marketing team on new product launch initiatives and customer events
- Interaction with the finance department
- Providing coverage and support for senior sales colleagues to ensure continuity of customer service during absences
- Understanding of the regulatory and compliance framework, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements
- Leadership, training, and mentoring of interns, including recruitment and ongoing guidance
Requirements
The required qualifications and experience include:- A university degree from a university or university of applied sciences
- Professional written and oral communication skills in German and English; French is a plus
- Interest and understanding of the asset management industry and investment funds
- Independent team player, hard-working and eager to learn
- High flexibility and ability to work under pressure with a keen eye for detail
- Must feel comfortable with projects and limited guidance
- Strong communication skills
- Analytical skills - The ability to quantitatively analyze JPMAM products/services
- Software and database skills - Knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Ready to learn customer onboarding and operational processes
