The position of Sales Support Associate at JPMorgan Chase in Zurich involves assisting client advisors in managing key accounts and maintaining client relationships. The incumbent will work closely with various teams to ensure exceptional service for clients.
Job Description
As part of our Swiss Wholesale team in the Asset Management, Wholesale, and Sales Support division, you will primarily focus on strengthening our Swiss fund business with key account clients. Your responsibilities will include working closely with wholesale client advisors to provide exceptional service to our clients, coordinating client meetings and calls, and managing client relationships. You will also be responsible for researching and preparing responses to ad-hoc questions or reporting requests from clients, assisting with the onboarding of new clients, conducting market analysis using Morningstar, Bloomberg, digital tools, and AI technologies, and ensuring effective compliance and control within your area of responsibility.Tasks
Sales Support:- Collaborate to support all aspects of the sales and business development process in order to provide our customers with exceptional service.
- Handling customer inquiries and managing customer reporting tasks.
- Conducting market research on target client groups using Morningstar, Bloomberg, digital tools, and AI technologies.
- Joint responsibility for core sales management processes (CSM) and the management of client information.
- Managing internal processes for requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence reviews of funds.
- Understanding and ensuring compliance with the regulatory and compliance framework, including Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
- Coordinating assignments for students who work while attending school.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement digital channels for the flagship fund sales strategy, with the aim of driving lead generation and sales growth.
- Commitment to customer engagement and relationship management.
- Support throughout the entire client engagement lifecycle: content coordination and proactive follow-up, including post-roadshow communication.
- Maintaining close contact with product specialists and other teams worldwide.
- Support the sales and marketing team in preparing product presentations, workshops, projects, and events to enhance client engagement.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
- A degree in economics, business administration, or a related field, with an interest in pursuing a CFA or other industry qualification in the future.
- 2–3 years of experience in the financial industry, ideally in asset management or private banking, with proven sales and client experience.
- Customer-focused with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills under pressure.
- Someone who works collaboratively with a strong work ethic and client focus, a sense of ownership, and is a self-starter with a proactive approach.
