Asset Management, Wholesale, Sales Support Associate

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Sales Support Associate for its Asset Management team in Zurich, who will work closely with Client Advisors to provide outstanding service to clients and strengthen business relationships with key account clients. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry, excellent communication skills in German and English, and a high attention to detail.

Job Description

As an Asset Management, Wholesales, Sales Support member of our Swiss Wholesales team, you will focus primarily on strengthening our Swiss fund business with key account clients. Your responsibilities will include working closely with Wholesale Client Advisors to provide exceptional service to our clients, coordinating client meetings and calls, and managing client relationships. You will also be tasked with researching and preparing answers to ad hoc questions or report requests from clients, assisting with the implementation and maintenance of Morningstar, Bloomberg, digital tools, and AI technologies, and ensuring that compliance and control processes within your area of responsibility are effective.

Tasks

Responsibilities: -
  • Working closely with client advisors to support all aspects of the sales and business development process and provide exceptional service to our clients.
  • Process customer inquiries and manage customer reporting tasks.
  • Conduct market research on target client groups using Morningstar, Bloomberg, digital tools, and AI technologies.
  • Share responsibility for core sales management processes (CSM) and maintain customer information.
  • Manage internal processes for requests for proposals (RFPs) and due diligence reviews of funds.
  • Understanding and ensuring compliance with the regulatory and compliance framework, including Know Your Client (KYC) requirements.
  • Coordinating tasks for student employees.

Requirements

Required qualifications, skills, and characteristics: -
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
  • Degree in economics, business administration, or a related field with an interest in obtaining a CFA or other industry qualifications in the future.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the financial sector, ideally in asset management or private banking, with proven experience in sales support and customer service.
  • Customer-focused with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills under time pressure.
  • Collaborative with a strong work ethic and customer focus, owner mindset, and a self-starter with a proactive approach.
  • Digitally savvy with an interest in developing digital sales strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and experience using LLM AI tools.
