Tasks

  • Able to lead strategic and complex projects, manage large data sets, understand data flows, and foster a culture of automation.
  • Support the vision for the Global Private Bank Financial Reporting product and create a product road map based on this vision. Perform financial analysis and reviews, including income statement and balance sheet variance analysis, legal entity financial back packs reports, and US financial regulatory reporting submissions.
  • Maintain the integrity of the financial statements and control environment, with an automation mindset.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance on Local Swiss and US financial regulatory reporting and corporate matters.
  • Partner on various matters, such as new business initiatives, complex financial products, and business requests, with CFOs, operations, tax, technology, risk, credit risk, compliance, treasury, legal and regulatory.

Requirements

Required qualifications, skills and knowledge

  • Qualified Accountant, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in banking or financial services, ideally with experience in a global private bank framework.
  • Strong knowledge of one of the following skills: accounting principles, financial regulatory reporting (e.g. capital and liquidity) and leading projects is a plus.
  • Working experience on Olympic and/or Tiempos Banking Systems, ideally in a change management role and experience using financial reporting tools such as SAP, MS Office suite and business Intelligence/automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI.
  • Knowledge of the local Swiss financial regulatory reporting framework, ideally using the Fire platform.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Skills in stakeholder influencing, conflict resolution, organization, and time management.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred qualifications, skills and knowledge

  • Fluency in French is a plus.
  • CPA title or equivalent is preferred.
