Tasks
- Lead strategic and complex projects, manage large amounts of data, understand data flows and promote a culture of automation.
- Support the vision for the Global Private Bank Financial Reporting product and create a product roadmap based on this vision.
- Perform financial analysis and reviews, including income statement and balance sheet variance analysis, review of legal entity financial reports and U.S. financial reporting.
- Maintain the integrity of the financial reports and control environment with an automation mentality.
- Provide ad hoc support on local Swiss and US financial reporting and corporate matters.
- Work with various teams, e.g. CFOs, Operations, Tax, Technology, Risk, Credit Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Legal and other teams.
- Provide business and data analysis for cross-functional initiatives; analyze and document key business conversations, dependencies and other project related materials.
Requirements
Required qualifications, skills and knowledge
- Qualified accountant, Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- At least 8 years' experience in the banking or financial services industry, ideally with experience in a global private banking framework.
- Strong knowledge in one of the following areas: Accounting principles, financial reporting (e.g. capital and liquidity) and financial planning products.
- Working experience with Olympic and/or Terezios banking systems, ideally in a change management role and experience with financial reporting tools such as SAP, MS Office suite and business intelligence/automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI.
- Knowledge of the local Swiss financial reporting framework, ideally using the Fire platform.
- Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred qualifications, skills and knowledge
- Fluent in French is a plus.
- CPA title or equivalent is preferred.
