EFG International is seeking a Client Services Officer (CSO) for a 12-month permanent position in London to act as a liaison between clients and internal teams and seamlessly execute client instructions. The CSO will support Client Relations Officers with administrative tasks and client servicing.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Client Services Officer (CSO) for a 12-month permanent position (maternity cover) to champion client engagement and help fulfill our mission of empowering entrepreneurial minds to create lasting value. In this role, you will be a key liaison between clients and our internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client briefs while building strong relationships in a stimulating and dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • The CSO supports the Client Relationship Officers (CROs) with:
    • Bank and client-related administration, e.g:
      • Transfers and payments
      • Foreign exchange
      • Monitoring and determination of bank deposits
      • Processing of purchases and sales of securities
    • Interaction with customers and accompaniment to the Customer Relationship Officer (CRO), if required
    • Internal stakeholders, such as operations, compliance and offshore entities, as required for the completion of annual reviews and onboarding documents
    • Where authorized by the Fitness & Propriety Certificate, promoting, recommending and arranging banking and investment products and services
    • Preparation and documentary support on behalf of the CRO to ensure timely completion of periodic reviews and onboarding submissions
    • Carrying out research work at the request of the CRO
    • Act as a contact person for the team for other departments of the bank when necessary (troubleshooting, requests, etc.)
    • Compliance with the Code of Conduct and all internal regulations (e.g. Cross Border, AML, Clear Desk Policy, absence management)

Skills and Experience

  • Experience: demonstrable experience in a similar role in private banking or financial services
  • Knowledge: in-depth understanding of private banking processes, financial products and regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, FATCA, CRS)
  • Technical skills: familiar with standard IT systems; ability to learn new software quickly
