Assistant, Asset Management

The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking an Asset Management Assistant to handle the administrative management of portfolios and mandates and to support the teams in the Asset Management division. The ideal candidate has a business background, knowledge of financial markets, and strong communication skills in German and English.

Tasks

- You will assist with the administrative management of portfolios and advisory mandates (administrative management, monitoring, preparation of materials). - You will develop and update communication materials for our various investment products in collaboration with the teams in the Asset Management & Advisory department. - You will support the Investment Management and Investment Solutions & Advisory teams in the administrative oversight of management mandates, advisory mandates, and other activities that support our advisors. In addition, you will serve as a point of contact for internal inquiries regarding financial markets and investment products. - You will participate in projects within the Asset Management division.

Requirements

  • You have completed a business education program (Maturité commerciale and/or HES).
  • You are drawn to the financial markets and have an affinity for the technological systems used in this sector.
  • You have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
  • You are flexible and can adapt to new situations and different personalities, and work well with various teams.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can offer constructive solutions.
