Assistant, Asset Management
The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking an Asset Management Assistant to assist with the management of portfolios and client mandates and to support communication with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate has a business background, knowledge of financial markets, and strong communication skills in German, English, and French.
Tasks
You will assist with the administrative oversight of portfolios and advisory mandates (administrative management, monitoring, preparation of materials). You will develop and maintain communication materials for our various investment products in collaboration with the teams in the Asset Management & Advisory department. You will support the Investment Management and Investment Solutions & Advisory teams in the administrative oversight of management mandates and support mandates for our advisors. You will serve as a point of contact for internal inquiries regarding financial markets and investment products. You will participate in projects within the Asset Management division.Requirements
- You have a business education (commercial high school diploma and/or a degree from a university of applied sciences).
- You are drawn to the financial markets and have an affinity for the technological systems used in this industry.
- You have a good command of written and spoken German and English.
- You describe yourself as a flexible person who can adapt to both new situations and different personalities, and you are able to collaborate with various teams.
- You have excellent communication and advisory skills, and you offer constructive suggestions for improvement.
