Assistant Relationship Manager (Full-Time) (m/f/d) - Ireland
Julius Baer Bank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (m/f/d) for its branch in Dublin, Ireland, to support one or more Relationship Managers with day-to-day operations, administrative tasks, and client service. The ideal candidate should be friendly, trustworthy, and discreet, with a strong awareness of risk and a strong commitment to customer service.
Tasks
- Supports one or more Relationship Managers (RM) / Team Heads (TH) in day-to-day operations, administration, client care, and relationship management
- Interacts with internal and external stakeholders, client administration, and management
- Supports RMs/THs in client interactions and all related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) with high quality, precision, and prompt responsiveness
- Manages the RMs'/THs' calendars, prepares for client meetings, organizes business trips, and handles the follow-up on client calls, client meetings, or business trips for RMs/THs
- Creates presentations, assists in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities as needed (client reception, meetings, business trips, events, etc.)
- Ensures coverage in your absence
Business Management
- Regularly collects relevant information necessary for the work
- Organizes work in an efficient and compliant manner and ensures that the supervisor is informed in a timely and appropriate manner
- Conducts inspections, plans ahead, and documents his work at all times
- Assists RM/TH in implementing projects and initiatives
- Provides professional input/suggestions for improvements based on experience, incidents, or observations
- Manages the expense reimbursement process for RMs/TH
Risk management & controls
- Actively assists with risk management (supporting the first line of defense), e.g., with client documentation, by identifying concerns, tracking issues, and escalating in cases of uncertainty.
- Ensures compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards (e.g., opening new accounts, issuing payment instructions, reviewing client phone calls, or signing off on matters within their authority, etc.) in collaboration with the respective RMs and THs
- Ensures that outstanding issues and escalated defects are addressed in a timely manner
- Ensures that ethical and compliant behavior is demonstrated within their area of responsibility
- Ensures that the documentation of client interactions and client orders in the relevant tool (e.g., CRM, DMS) is accurate, meaningful, and understandable
