Assistant Relationship Manager (Full-Time) (m/f/d) - Ireland

Julius Baer Bank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (m/f/d) for its branch in Dublin, Ireland, to support a Relationship Manager in their day-to-day work and to handle client support and relationship management. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, a strong communicator, and has experience in the financial industry.

Your challenge

Your responsibilities include:
  • Support the Relationship Manager (RM) / Team Head (TH) in client interactions and all related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) with a high level of quality, precision, and responsiveness
  • Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
  • Managing the RM/TH's calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, client meetings, or business trips for the RM/TH
  • Compiling presentations, assisting with the preparation of investment proposals, and supporting marketing activities as needed (client receptions, meetings, business trips, events, etc.)
  • Ensuring coverage during your own absences

Business tasks

Your responsibilities include:
  • Regular collection and exchange of relevant information necessary for the work
  • Organizing one's own work in an efficient and compliant manner and ensuring that the supervisor is informed in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting one's own work at all times
  • Supporting the RM/TH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Provision of professional suggestions for improvements based on experience, incidents, or observations
  • Administration of the expense accounting process for RM/TH

Risk management and controls

Your responsibilities include:
  • Active support for risk management (first line of defense), e.g., with client documentation, by raising concerns, tracking issues, and escalating matters when there is uncertainty
  • Ensuring compliance with internal regulations and adherence to internal guidelines and standards (e.g., opening new accounts, payment instructions, reviewing client phone calls, or signing off on matters within one’s own authority, etc.) in collaboration with the respective RM and TH
  • Ensuring that outstanding issues and escalated defects are resolved in a timely manner
  • Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant conduct within one's area of responsibility
  • Ensuring that client interactions and client orders are documented accurately, meaningfully, and clearly in the appropriate tool (e.g., CRM, DIAS)
