Assistant Relationship Manager (Full-Time) (m/f/d) - Ireland

Julius Baer Bank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (m/f/d) for its branch in Dublin, Ireland, to support one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work, client service, and relationship management. The ideal candidate should be service-oriented, communicative, and organized, and should have experience in the financial industry as well as a good command of English.

Your challenge

The position of Assistant Relationship Manager involves the following responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Relationship Manager (RM) / Team Head (TH) in their daily work, client service, and relationship management
  • Interaction with internal and external stakeholders

Tasks

The main tasks include:
  • Customer administration and management, including support for customer interactions and related tasks
  • Customization of customer inquiries (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
  • Managing the RM/TH's calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or trips
  • Compilation of presentations, assistance with the preparation of investment proposals, and marketing activities
  • Ensuring coverage during absence

Business tasks

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
  • Efficient and compliant organization of one's own work and timely reporting to one's supervisor
  • Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting work
  • Supporting the RM/TH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Provision of professional suggestions for improvements
  • Management of the expense reporting process for RM/TH

Risk Management and Control

The position also includes:
  • Active support for risk management (first line of defense), e.g., in customer documentation, by raising concerns, tracking issues, and escalating matters when there is uncertainty
  • Ensuring adherence to internal regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards
  • Ensuring the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
  • Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior within one's own area of responsibility
  • Ensuring that customer interactions and customer instructions are documented accurately, meaningfully, and clearly in the appropriate tool
