Assistant Relationship Manager (Full-Time) (m/f/d)
Julius Baer Bank is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager (m/f/d) for its branch in Luxembourg to support one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work and to handle client service and administration. The ideal candidate should be a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.
Your challenge
Your responsibilities include:- Supporting Relationship Managers (RM) and Relationship Manager Assistants (RMA) in their daily work serving customers:
- Ensuring proactive, high-quality services and a timely response to customers and prospective clients in all related tasks,
- Participation in client meetings, phone calls, and business trips
- Active participation in outreach activities (market research, event organization, event attendance, contact management, etc.)
- Active participation in all training programs and local "learning trips" organized by the various relevant departments in Luxembourg
- Learning about Julius Baer's offerings and utilizing key Julius Baer research publications
- Proactive networking within the bank
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements, internal rules, regulations, and guidelines, etc.

Your responsibilities include:- Regularly gathering and sharing relevant information needed for the job
- Organizing work in an efficient and compliant manner and ensuring that the supervisor is informed in a timely and appropriate manner
- Conducting reviews, planning ahead, and documenting work at all times
- Support for RM/TH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Providing professional suggestions for improvements based on experience, incidents, or observations
- Administration of the expense accounting process for RMs/TH
Risk management & controls
Your responsibilities include:- Active support for risk management (supporting the first line of defense), e.g., with customer documentation, by raising concerns, tracking issues, and escalating matters when uncertain
- Ensuring adherence to local regulations and compliance with internal policies and standards (e.g., opening new accounts, issuing payment instructions, reviewing customer calls, or signing off on matters within one’s own authority, etc.) in collaboration with the respective RMs and THs
