Assistant Relationship Manager, Asia

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Senior Relationship Manager team at J.B. Bass in Singapore in the areas of client service, administrative management, and risk control in private banking. The role requires in-depth knowledge of the financial industry, an understanding of regulatory requirements (MAS), and strong communication and organizational skills.

Tasks

  • Supporting the SRM with on-site coordination of all related aspects (systems, processes, icons, documents, and desktop activities), promotional activities, and private banking events
  • Coordination of customer events (research, statistics, tracking, etc.)
  • Management of HRIS/L2, onboarding, project planning for client metrics, proposals, etc.; creation of a project overview for each client; and management of all documents, including tracking of client documents (client status, tracking, timeline, icons, events, etc.)
  • Ensuring coverage for support during and after meetings
  • Administrative Management of Client Relationships and Services in Private Banking
  • Coordinating business plans and various documents for the local team
  • Assist the Monitor (M) in maintaining projects and templates in accordance with the agreed-upon team requirements in the monitoring system (RMS)
  • Providing professional recommendations for improved business plans, including any issues or discrepancies
  • Relevant for the monthly cross-post for RMS/LOD
  • Performing tasks related to the administration and support of HRM, such as reviewing well-established procedures during audits, and following up on issues identified through monitoring—for example, to escalate them to the local manager
  • Supporting colleagues in risk management and compliance by conducting periodic internal tests and audits. Through new scenarios, customer service routines, and customer interactions, conducting a regular review of the risk management and compliance framework by the client’s CRO (CMS) with regard to risk limits for clients and employees—ensuring their consistent application toward colleagues and the financial sector (risk limits for clients and employees—ensuring their consistent application toward colleagues and the financial sector)
  • Ensuring accurate, complete, and straightforward documentation of customer identification (e.g., KYC/LEAD)
