Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager in achieving business objectives and is responsible for servicing private banking clients. He/she presents banking services, performs KYC and AML checks and assists in the management of client portfolios.

Main tasks and responsibilities
- Introduces the bank and its banking services to potential customers.
- Supports the Relationship Manager in achieving business objectives such as NNA/sales targets.
- brand and offers comprehensive private banking services to meet different wealth management needs.
- Performs KYC/AML due diligence on clients to ensure compliance with the Bank's general policies and ongoing periodic reviews.
- Reviews the Investment Risk Profile Questionnaire with clients at account opening and at ongoing periodic reviews to ensure and update the suitability of investment products, risk tolerance and investment experience of clients.
- Communicates and coordinates with the bank's investment units, such as Treasury, EFG Asset Management and the Global Product Unit, to provide product information and market commentary to clients.
- Closely monitors clients' portfolios and contact activities to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Monitors clients' positions to ensure that collateralization is sufficient at all times and arranges for the settlement of overcollateralization where necessary.
- Prepares and maintains proper records including but not limited to account documentation, CIP, IRPQ, credit applications and relevant documents, trade transactions and call reports, etc.
- Accepts, confirms and executes client instructions for investments, including but not limited to money market, securities, mutual fund and FX transactions. Informs clients of the status of their orders in a timely manner. Walks clients through the sales process, suitability checks, key economic factors and key risk factors of specific products as required.
- Communicates and coordinates with the credit department to ensure that all customer credit applications are properly processed.
- Attends internal/external training/meetings when possible and required. Ensures that suitability and proper implementation requirements (such as CPT requirements, AML training, fraud training and compliance certification, etc.) are fully met in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- General ad hoc tasks, such as carrying out routine follow-ups and administrative work.
- Assists with ad hoc IT projects to improve or upgrade current IT systems where required.
- Supports other Assistant Relationship Managers as required.
Requirements
- University degree
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in private banking
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
