Assistant Relationship Manager for the Latin America & Middle East Intermediaries team
The Assistant Relationship Manager will support the team and Relationship Managers in dealing with queries from intermediaries and end customers in relation to trading and operational aspects. The focus is on ensuring smooth operations and quick, competent responses.
Job description
Tasks
- Supports the team and Relationship Managers (RMs) with all inquiries from intermediaries and FOs as well as end customers regarding trading and operational aspects
- Ensures smooth operation and fast, competent and complete responses
- The tasks include:
- Order placement
- Processing customer inquiries
- Support in all aspects of customer interaction
- Answering calls and taking immediate action
- Maintaining and updating records of client instructions, details and preferences
- Creation of system-based reports for the RM
- Customer information and data provision (verbal and/or written), without advice or expression of opinion as a value judgment
- Processing of orders, trades, transactions, payments (outside of e-channels) and execution of customer inquiries
- Promoting the use and adoption of dedicated intermediary and FO-E channels
- Monitoring the maturity list for deposits, loans, trades; taking action on standard instructions, obtaining instructions (from RM or client) as required
- Organization and follow-up of customer meetings, including logistics and document preparation
- Support RM in investigations and troubleshooting, close cooperation with internal bank teams/departments
Requirements
Personal and social skills
- Basic knowledge of the financial markets: structure, function and legal/regulatory environment as well as industry awareness
- Basic understanding of relevant products and services for EAM customers, plus valuation principles
- Very good language skills in French, Spanish and English (oral and written), other languages are a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
Education and experience
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work quickly, independently and accurately within the Assistant RM area, even under pressure
