Assistant Relationship Manager - Intermediaries
The Assistant Relationship Manager - Intermediaries supports the team and relationship managers in handling inquiries from intermediaries and end customers regarding trading and operational aspects. The role includes tasks such as order placement, processing customer inquiries, payment execution, and placing loans and deposits.
Your challenge
The role of Assistant Relationship Manager – Intermediaries involves supporting the team and the Relationship Managers (RMs) with all inquiries from intermediaries and end customers regarding trading and operational matters. The goal is to ensure smooth operations and provide prompt, knowledgeable, and comprehensive responses.Tasks
The tasks include:- Supporting the RM and the team in all aspects of customer interaction
- Answering calls and promptly carrying out instructions
- Updating customer information, details, and preferences, as well as creating system-based reports for RM
- Providing information and data to customers without offering advice or making value judgments
- Processing of orders, trades, transactions, payments, and handling of customer inquiries
- Support for promoting the use and adoption of e-channels by intermediaries and family offices
- Monitoring maturity schedules for deposits, bonds, and trades, and taking action as needed
Business administration
Business administration includes:- Organization and follow-up of customer meetings, including logistics and document preparation
- Supporting the RM in investigations and problem-solving, as well as working closely with other teams and departments
Risk management
Risk management includes:- Full compliance with compliance, legal regulations, internal rules, and guidelines
- Identification and reporting of risks, as well as escalation when necessary
Your profiles
The requirements for this position include:Professional
- CACS Papers 1 and 2
- CMFAS Modules 18, 5, 6A, 8A certification (preferred)
- Working knowledge of T4A, Olympics, and TEMS
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of financial markets: structure, function, and legal/regulatory environment, as well as industry knowledge
- Basic knowledge of relevant products and services for EAM customers, as well as evaluation principles
- Very good English skills (written and spoken) and other languages according to market requirements
Training and experience
- Good university degree in finance, economics, or a related subject
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in a private bank
- Understanding of the EAM business sector, business requirements, and competitive landscape
- Strong knowledge of private banking solutions, investments, etc.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to work quickly, independently, and accurately, even under pressure
