Assistant Relationship Manager - Intermediaries

The Assistant Relationship Manager - Intermediaries supports the team and relationship managers in serving intermediaries and end customers to ensure the smooth handling of trading and operational aspects. The role includes tasks such as order placement, processing customer inquiries, executing payments, and placing loans and deposits.

Tasks

The Assistant supports the team and Relationship Managers (RMs) with all intermediary and FO inquiries, as well as end customer inquiries relating to trading and operational aspects. The aim is to ensure smooth operations and fast, competent, and comprehensive responses. Tasks include:
  • order placement
  • Handling customer inquiries
  • Execution of payments and placement of loans and deposits
  • Accuracy and punctuality are of utmost importance.

Your challenge

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Customer administration and management
  • Supporting the relationship manager and the team in customer interactions
  • Answering calls and taking prompt action
  • Updating customer information and preferences
  • Creation of system-based reports for the relationship manager
  • Processing of orders, trades, transactions, and payments

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Organization and follow-up of customer meetings
  • Supporting the relationship manager with investigations and problem solving
  • Close cooperation with other teams and departments

Risk management

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Full compliance with compliance, legal regulations, internal rules, and guidelines
  • First line of defense against risks by reporting concerns and escalating when necessary

Your profile

We are looking for a candidate with:
  • High personal integrity and risk awareness
  • CACS Papers 1 and 2
  • CMFAS Modules 18, 5, 6A, 8A certification (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of T4A, Olympics, and TEMS
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets and products
  • Strong English skills (written and spoken) and other languages as required by the market

Training and experience

We are looking for a candidate with:
  • A good university degree in finance, economics, or a related subject
  • At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in a private bank
  • Knowledge of the EAM industry, business requirements, and competitive landscape
  • Good product knowledge of private banking solutions, investments, etc.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work quickly, independently, and accurately
