Assistant Relationship Manager

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports one or more Relationship Managers in daily operations, administration, customer service, and relationship management in the area of private banking. The position requires a high level of service orientation, good communication skills, and experience in customer service in the private banking sector.

Tasks

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports one or more Relationship Managers (RM) or Group Heads (GH) with daily operations, administration, client care, and relationship management. Responsibilities include:
  • Supporting RMs/GH in client interactions and all related tasks
  • Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
  • Managing the RM/GH calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or trips
  • Compilation of presentations, support in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities
  • Ensuring coverage during your own absences

Client Administration & Management

The specific responsibilities in this area include:
  • Supporting RMs/GH in client interactions and all related tasks
  • Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
  • Managing the RM/GH calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or trips

Business Management

The tasks in this area include:
  • Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
  • Organizing one's own work in an efficient and compliant manner
  • Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting work
  • Supporting RM/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Provision of professional suggestions for improvements
  • Administration of the expense accounting process for RMs/GH

Risk Management & Controls

The tasks in this area include:
  • Active support for risk management (first line of defense)
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
  • Ensuring the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
  • Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior
  • Ensuring accurate and clear documentation of client interactions
