Assistant Relationship Manager

The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work, administrative tasks, and client service. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work under pressure.

Tasks

The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports one or more Relationship Managers (RM) / Group Heads (GH) in daily operations, administration, and client management. Responsibilities include:
  • Support the RM(s)/GH in client interactions and all related tasks
  • Customization of client requests
  • Managing the RM(s)/GH calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or business trips
  • Compilation of presentations, support in the preparation of investment proposals and marketing activities
  • Ensuring coverage during your own absences

Client administration and management

The tasks in this area include:
  • Support the RM(s)/GH in client interactions and all related tasks
  • Customization of client requests
  • Managing the RM(s)/GH calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or business trips

Business Management

The tasks in this area include:
  • Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
  • Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting work
  • Supporting the RM/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
  • Development of professional recommendations for improvements
  • Management of the Expense Claim Process for RM(s)/GH

Risk Management and Control

The tasks in this area include:
  • Active support in risk management (first line of defense)
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
  • Ensuring the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
  • Ensuring appropriate ethical and compliant behavior

Regulatory responsibilities

The tasks in this area include:
  • Demonstrating appropriate values and behaviors
