Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work, administrative tasks, and client service, and interacts with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves assisting with the implementation of customized solutions for clients and ensuring a high standard of service.
Tasks
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports one or more Relationship Managers or Group Heads in their day-to-day work, administrative tasks, and client management. Responsibilities include:- Supporting relationship managers in client interactions and all related tasks
- Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
- Managing the Relationship Manager's calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and handling client calls, meetings, or business trips
- Creating presentations, assisting with the preparation of investment proposals, and supporting marketing activities
- Ensuring coverage during absence
management
The Assistant Relationship Manager:- regularly collects information relevant to the work
- conducts reviews, plans and documents his work
- Supports the Relationship Manager in implementing projects and initiatives
- provides professional suggestions for improvements based on experience, past incidents, or observations
- Manages the expense reimbursement process for the relationship manager
Risk management and controls
The Assistant Relationship Manager:- actively assists with risk management (supporting the first line of defense)
- ensures compliance with local regulations and internal guidelines and standards
- ensures the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
- ensures appropriate ethical and compatible behavior within his area of responsibility
- ensures that client interactions and client orders are documented accurately, clearly, and comprehensively
Regulatory responsibilities
The Assistant Relationship Manager:- demonstrates appropriate values and behaviors, including honesty and integrity, diligence and prudence, fair treatment (treating customers fairly), conflict management, competence and continuous professional development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
