Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work, administrative tasks, and client service, and interacts with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a strong service orientation, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, as well as a basic understanding of relevant private banking products and services.
Tasks
The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports one or more Relationship Manager(s) (RM) / Group Head(s) (GH) in daily operations, administration, and client management. Responsibilities include:- Supporting RMs/GH in client interactions and all related tasks (systems, processes, files, documents, etc.) with high quality, precision, and prompt responsiveness
- Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
- Manage the RM/GH calendar, prepare for client meetings, organize business trips, and follow up on client calls, meetings, or business trips for RMs/GH
- Compiling presentations, assisting with the preparation and review of investment proposals, and supporting marketing activities (client接待, meetings, business trips, events, etc.)
- Ensuring coverage during your own absences
management
The ARM:- regularly collects relevant information that is necessary for the work
- conducts reviews, plans and documents his work
- supports RM/GH in implementing projects and initiatives in close coordination with the Business Management team
- provides professional suggestions for improvements based on experience, incidents, or observations
- manages the expense reporting process for RMs/GH
Risk management and controls
The ARM:- actively supports risk management (by bolstering the first line of defense), for example, in client documentation, by raising concerns, tracking issues, and escalating uncertainties
- ensures compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards (e.g., opening new accounts, issuing payment instructions, reviewing client phone calls, or signing off on matters within their authority, etc.) in collaboration with the respective Relationship Manager, General Manager, and Team Business Manager
- ensures the timely clarification of outstanding issues and escalated defects
- ensures appropriate ethical and compatible behavior within his area of responsibility
- ensures that client interactions and client orders are documented accurately, clearly, and comprehensively in the appropriate tool (e.g., CRM, DAMS)

The ARM:- demonstrates appropriate values and behaviors, including, but not limited to, standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and prudence, fair treatment (treating customers fairly), conflict management, competence and continuous development, appropriate risk management, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
