Assistant Relationship Manager

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager with administrative tasks and is responsible for managing client relationships and documentation. The role also includes assisting with client acquisition, relationship management, and risk management, as well as collaborating with internal teams and departments.

Job description

The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager (RM) with administrative tasks related to intermediaries and end customers. Responsibilities include managing end-customer relationships, maintaining contracts and documentation in the relevant systems, and assisting the RM in processing files and documentation.

  • Acquisition Management: 5%
  • Relationship Management: 20%
  • Service Management: 60%
  • People & Performance Management: 5%
  • Risk Management: 10%

Key areas of responsibility

The most important tasks are:
  • Administrative support for the RM and the team leader
  • Establishing and Terminating Intermediary Relationships and Technical Relationship Management
  • Opening and Closing Retail Customer Accounts
  • Ensuring that customer KYC data is maintained to the highest standards
  • Troubleshooting and close collaboration with internal teams/departments
  • Support for creating customer period overviews and trigger events
  • Training for intermediaries on how to use Baer@Online and support via the Baer@Online hotline

Professional and technical skills:
  • Relevant experience in the banking, compliance, and/or asset management and investment industries (back office and front office)
  • Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) and familiarity with customer relationship management software
