Assistant Relationship Manager
The Julius Baer Group is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support one or more Relationship Managers and handle the day-to-day administration and management of client accounts. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, a systematic approach to work, and a passion for client service.
Tasks
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports one or more Relationship Managers or Group Heads in their day-to-day work, administrative tasks, and client management. Responsibilities include:- Supporting RMs/GHs in client interaction and all related tasks
- Customization of client requests
- Managing the RMs/GH calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and following up on client calls, meetings, or trips
- Creating presentations, assisting with the preparation of investment proposals, and supporting marketing activities
- Ensuring coverage during your own absences
Client administration and management
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Managers (RMs) and General Managers (GMs) in client interactions and all related tasks, such as:- Support with client interactions and all related tasks
- Customization of client requests
- Management of the RMs/GH Calendar
Business Management
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Managers (RMs) and General Managers (GMs) in implementing projects and initiatives, such as:- Regular collection and exchange of relevant information
- Conducting reviews, planning, and documenting the work
- Support for the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Development of professional recommendations for improvements
- Management of the Expense Claim Process for RMs/GH
Risk Management and Control
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the RMs/GH in risk management and control, such as:- Active support for risk management
- Ensuring compliance with local regulations and internal guidelines
- Timely resolution of outstanding issues and escalated defects
- Ensuring appropriate and ethical conduct
Regulatory responsibilities
The Assistant Relationship Manager must comply with regulatory requirements, such as:- Demonstrating appropriate values and behaviors
- Adherence to standards of honesty and integrity, diligence and prudence, fair business practices, etc.
