Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports one or more Relationship Managers in their day-to-day work, administrative tasks, and client service, and interacts with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves assisting with the implementation of client solutions and ensuring a high standard of service quality.
Tasks
The Assistant Relationship Manager (ARM) supports one or more Relationship Managers (RM) / Group Heads (GH) in daily operations, administration, and client management. Responsibilities include:- Supporting RMs/GH in client interactions and all related tasks
- Customization of client requests (reporting, statistics, mailings, etc.)
- Managing RM/GH's calendar, preparing for client meetings, organizing business trips, and handling client calls, meetings, or business trips
- Support for RM/GH in investment proposals and marketing activities
- Ensuring coverage in your own absence
Business Management
The ARM:- regularly collects information relevant to the work
- conducts reviews, plans and documents his work
- assists RM/GH in implementing projects and initiatives
- offers professional suggestions for improvements
- manages the expense reporting process for RM/GH
Risk management and controls
The ARM:- actively helps with risk management (first line of defense)
- ensures compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
- ensures the timely clarification of open issues and escalated defects
- ensures ethical and compliant behavior within his or her area of responsibility
- ensures accurate and clear documentation of client interactions
Regulatory responsibilities
The ARM:- demonstrates appropriate values and behavior
- demonstrates honesty and integrity, diligence and conscientiousness, fair treatment of customers, conflict management, competence, and continuous development
