Assistant Relationship Manager
The Assistant Relationship Manager supports the Relationship Manager and Group Head in day-to-day administration, customer service, and relationship management in the area of private banking. The position requires strong communication and customer focus skills, as well as experience in banking, particularly in the area of private banking.
Job description: Assistant Relationship Manager
Tasks
- Client Administration & Management
- Supports the Relationship Manager (RM) and Group Head (GH) in daily administrative tasks, customer service, and relationship management
- Provides customers with relevant information and supports RM in implementing customized solutions
- Manages the RM/GH's calendar to prepare for customer meetings, organizes business trips, and completes follow-up work after customer calls, meetings, or business trips.
- Creates presentations, assists in the development of investment proposals and marketing activities
- Ensures representation in your own absence
- Business Management
- Collects and regularly exchanges relevant information required for the work
- Organizes him/herself efficiently and compliantly and ensures that the supervisor is informed promptly and appropriately
- Performs checks, prints, and documents his work
- Supports the RM/GH in the implementation of projects and initiatives
- Provides professional input and suggestions for improvements
- Manages the expense reporting process for RM/GH
- Provides ongoing administrative support:
- Processes customer transfers, executes securities, funds, bonds, money market / foreign exchange transactions
- Handles customer queries and resolves them where possible
- Manages appointment calendars, books customer meetings, assists with event preparation
- Regulatory Responsibilities / Risk Management & Controls
- Actively contributes to risk management (supports the first line of defense)
- Ensures compliance with local regulations and internal policies and standards
- Ensures that pending, escalated, and elevated defects are resolved in a timely manner
- Ensures that appropriate ethical and correct behavior is guaranteed within his area of responsibility.
- Ensures that customer interactions/customer orders are documented correctly, meaningfully, and comprehensibly.
Requirements

- Understanding of execution and back office processes as well as legal and compliance procedures

- In-depth knowledge of the geographic market(s), i.e., familiar with the legal and regulatory environment and culturally sensitive
- Good understanding of relevant products and services in private banking
- Basic knowledge of global financial markets and current developments in the industry
- Proven experience in supporting banking clients with complex needs
- A good university degree in finance, economics, or a related subject
- At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Relationship Manager in private banking
